Mustangs meet newborn neighbor

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Friday afternoon in the LRHS courtyard, Mustangs collectively cooed over a mother squirrel and her two newborn babies. Mommy drew attention to herself when she ran up the tree, baby in mouth, and settled down in her nest. As the babies surfaced with wide, newborn eyes and freshly fluffy tails, students crowded around and doted over these adorable new additions to the LRHS family.

Varsity football Mustangs ready for Bruins

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Last week, the Mustang varsity football team took on the Riverview Rams. The Mustangs suffered a loss 30-13, but are ready to make a comeback this week at the Ranch. “Last week we made way too many mistakes,” said head football coach Mick Koczersut. “We have a really good group of kids and a chance to have a really good football team.

Frantz offers tickets for modern pentathlon

Bunny certainly not bugging Mustangs

(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – Everyone knows Klumpy the Mustang, LRHS’ beloved school mascot, but more and more Mustangs are starting to fall in love with a new four-legged fellow around the ranch, Peter Nincompoop. Nincompoop is a wild bunny rabbit that lives by the 900-numbered portables. He is often seen in the morning and is reportedly very friendly.
